Where to Purchase
You will find Ross with his wares at his Bruny Island Food market stall on Sundays at the Hobart Farm Gate Market. The Hobart Farm Gate Market is on Bathurst Street, between Elizabeth and Murray Streets each Sunday from 8.30am – 1pm.
Ross’ market bounty changes from week to week and can include Toulouse sausages, pork and fennel sausages, cotechino sausage, dry cured bacon, pork pies, rillettes, pulled pork, mustard, aged pinot vinegar, fresh pork cuts, smoked pig cheeks and trotters, wild rabbit and others.
Ross has a stall at the Harvest market in Launceston on the third Saturday of each month. Harvest is in the Cimitiere Street car park each Saturday from 8.30am – 12.30pm.
You can also purchase a copy of the Gourmet Farmer Deli Book from Ross that he wrote with his mates Matthew Evans and Nick Haddow based on their TV series, The Gourmet Farmer.
Our farm is not currently set up for farm gate sales but if you do make it all the way to Bruny Island you will be able to find Ross’ Toulouse sausages and pork rillettes on the menu and for retail sale at Bruny Island Premium Wines. The wine bar and grill are open daily for lunch from 11am – 5pm at 4391 Main Road, Lunawanna. Their contact number for bookings is 0409 973 033.
